DM800HD Tune Failed

hi guys i setup a dm800hd with NabiloBlackHole_DM800_ss69-modified as its the only image i can get working for some reason and believe me what a hassle it was, anyways set box up and everything was working fine, recording and playback etc, i have now sold the box to a friend and posted it to him, all he done was plug the box in and all he can get are the free view channels all other channels on the bouquet are greyed out? he has tried putting 28.2 xml in and tried a scan but its still showing tune failed and greyed out channels?? this is becoming a pain and cant seem to sort it? thanks if anyone helps me with this problem

is it a clone? i have one the same and from what i have read its a faulty tuner problem

Has he changed the network?
Im guessing he probably has a different router to you.

after messing with network etc as he runs it through a server, its working now, hd channels were not working but rescanned and all working but when i load in the new bouquet the hd channels dont work again and are greyed out??
