DM800HD Won't Boot When USB Drive is Present

Hi all.

Noticed today after fitting a USB flash drive into my DM800HD to use the PVR that when I reboot the box, it get stuck on booting and won't load.

However when I remove the USB flash drive, the box boots up fine.

Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Are you using the usb for a hard drive?

Im not clued up with usb recording side but have you already formatted the usb drive 1st using your pc if not do that.....What image are you using m8?

I'm using OpenPli 2.1 BETA.

I've formatted the USB drive using the Harddrive -> Initialize option on the box.

Ok stick the usb in your pc ..start-my computer-right click on your usb drive-click format make sure fat32 is ticked mind-tick start-then try initializing in the dreambox again.let me know if it works m8
