Sunray dm800 hd se needs reflash (Wirral area)

Hi all,

I have messed up my sunray dm800 hd se whilst getting an update.

I was playing around with it and I think i updated it with genuine dm software.

When i turn it on now it just says on the display -

sim2
192.168.2.4
***stop***

Does this now need reflashing ??

If so, is there anyone in the Neston area who would be willing to reflash it for me ?

I dont expect you to do it for free i will pay you for your time.

I can drop the box of at your house or you can even pop to mine, i can even pick you up if you wish.

I just need it working properly again so my little boy can keep on watching Nick jnr (peppa pig) !

hi mate, you can flash it yourself, just enter that ip address in a browser and it will give you the flash loading page.
obviously the box must be attached to the network (that the pc you use to flash) is on to allow this

Took your advice.

A few of the flashes I tried didnt work(such as dreamelite 3) but in the end managed to flash it with "newnigma2 3.2.2"

Then installed mgcam from the "tspanel".

Working like a dream again.

Was it the "genuine dreambox update" that crashed it in the first place ??

Yes mate, stay away from updates within the image, and well done on sorting it yourself,
