    newcamd vs mgcamd? same thing?

    Hi

    I have a clone DM800 HD PVR clone running the openpli-2.1-beta-dm800-20130126-sim2-ssl84b image.

    I have been running cccam and using test lines to test the emulator and that works fine, by default on the image mgcamd wasn't installed so I installed it via the plugin menu's.

    I am trying to configure the mgcamd emulator and had a few questions:

    If i want to add test lines i am guessing for this openpli image it would be /var/keys/newcamd.list?

    I have deleted everything in this file and just put the following in

    CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
    CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
    CWS = hostname port username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan server
    CWS = Server-Host port *username password* 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan server

    when I restart the emulator it doesnt seem to work?

    Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Does this method apply for Mgcamd or is this for newcamd? What is the difference?

    I have also have tux box installed and in /var/tuxbox/config/newcamd.conf I see an entry where I could put a CWS file. I have tried in here and it doesnt work.

    Any step by step tutorial links would be very helpful as I am really stuck.

    Thanks

      Ok thanks for clarifying that. So for Mgcamd it always goes in the newcamd.list?

      So the way the text file i have shown above. Do the settings seem correct?

      Anyway i can test this?
