    Connecting Harddrive

    Hi i got a dm800hd se on friday and just getting used to it but cant seem to get my external hard drive to work so i can record. Not 100% sure what image is on there because it came set up. I have been just putting the hd in the usb?

      U got to mount the hdd and then create a movie folder in the hdd.

          do i have to format the hdd for me to mount? its formatted to fat32 atm. it has some stuff on there i dont want to lose aswell?

              Create a partition on yr hdd and format it to ext3.

                  do all of the above then go into system and set the recording paths to hdd/movie.
