    Have you tried
    menu---setup---service searching---tunner configuration---tuner A(what ever shows)---configuration mode> (set to advanced)---pick what sat you want---
    on diseqc mode >select 1.2
scroll down and add your long and lat(get them from dishpionter.com)
then set ---use usals for this sat
    ok
then repeat for all the sat you need

remove the usb stick and it should then boot to the image in flash memory.

thankyou very much for the info on rebooting without my HDD io have now disconnected and rebooted ok but a question to go along with that........can i reconnect my HDD at any stage in furture or will i go back to the freezed reboot stage every time i connect my HDD,

Now that i have it up and running it still is coming up tuner configuration error, tho im not 100% sure on the dish its def not pointing at correct position and i have went on to dish pointer typed in my post code and typed in my
            Latitude:
            Longitude:
but in setting of my decimals are set up different like for long its 005.100 and lat is 050.767 so my question would be how does that correspond to the ones i got of dishpointer? sorry i maybe sound silly but would be so grateful if you could help me on this issue, and why its coming up? have i typed in the right long and lat?

You need to format the HDD to ex3 do it using ubuntu, you can download it to Disk then boot your laptop/desktop via the disc drive.

If that is your long lat enter it as:-
lat ***.*** and the 5 if you can
long ***.*** and the 1 if you can
doesn't matter to much about the last numbers mate

              Good luck
