    Dreambox 800 - tuner help

    Hi all,

    I bought a Dreambox 800HD around 2 months ago now which turned up damaged. Just seemed to be cosmetic but after installing an image the tuner is no good.

    So tried contacting the seller not a peep. Must be 10-15 emails sent to them already...nothing!

    Looked at the tuner and a capacitor was hanging off it..tried soldering back on but still nothing.

    Can someone tell me what tuner I need to buy to replace? Seems to be a nightmare to source.

      Have a look on ebay m8 there are tuners on there for around ?30

                      Can't seem to find a tuner which has the pins connector. All seem to be the spade type connector.
