    DM800se clone #SSL84A

    I have DM800se with #SSL84A.

Can I flash an image which contains #SSL84B?

Which is best image for this receiver?

    Thanks.

hi, ive never had to flash the bootloader before image after image or any other time, yes you can go from bootloader 84a to 84b, just flash an image with bootloader already attached to it, job done, sorry but i keep reading this add bootloader after install and it really isnt needed. maybe if you are going from 76 to 84 it might be needed

The reason for this is an air to the side of caution i did the same thing myself always flashed bootloader first then before reboot flash the image, After all you can only take the image makers word for it that when they produced said image that they included the bootloader with it.

Better to be safe than sorry

only problem with that is that you also have to trust that it is in fact an image and that the bootloader is in fact a bootloader, sorry but dont install from untrusted sources.
