DM800 North America

I have pulled out the year old DM800HD, it has a Alps tuner. A year ago I could find no help on how to set it up in N A. But, I did not find this resource either. All the sats were FAR east..

Going to start over I assume the image has no bearing on where one is at but should would appreciate a point to some info on how to set up.

You are correct there is no bearing on the image installed on the 800 for your location, all you need to do is add the appropriate sat.xml file when done with the correct satellites for your region which would be something in the region of 61.5? west - 139? west, unless there is a channel list somewhere with the correct channels and satellites already available.
