ok when i press cross epg it goes straight onto the radio and downloads but no channels epg comes up running dream elite 4.0 any help please setting this up

Did you try restarting enigma after the download completed also do you have reload EPG on reboot selected in the settings

is it configured to store in usb stick ?
go into
menu
setup
crossepg
configure - select usb from top "storage device"
red - to go back
xmltv providers
select rytec uk - red back
xepgdb providers
select rytec uk - red back

download now

uncheck the opentv providers and just use the ones online (above settings)
ps, you may need to update the providers list`s above
