update still no luck tryed every version of dreamup and still dead, i took the top case of for a look and noticed the fan was turning very slowly , i took the board out to check for any obvious burn marks ect but it was fine, pretty confifent its a hrdware issue , also tryed another lcd display of my own but still nothing both ethernet lights on solid and fan turning about 7 rpm its a definet head scratcher...
tryed the power supply off my own but nothing.

turn it off from the mains but leave psu connected to box, wait 10 mins, and turn on power again FROM MAINS.

                    Hi Colin,

Remove the tuner does it mean remove the cable which connect to the tuner on dreambox?

As i try remove everything and plug in the power. but the LCD screen still show nothing only the Ethernet light is on
