My box keeps gaining time! help! :(

Does anybody know of an NTP (time) updater addon?
    (other than NTPDate or ntpupdatemanager)

    HISTORY:

My SR4 DM800 HD SE has decided it doesn't want to live life in the normal time frame as humans, but instead keep speeding up time, even after it has been set correctly... every hour or so 2 it gains a minute or two.
Naturally this causes havoc when trying to program shows to record -.-

To rectify this problem, I have tried NtpDate addon but this only works if the box is NOT on standby, and only if you are NOT in the media player, and only if you do NOT have any menu's open, and only if you do NOT disable the annoying popup messages show when it has been updated.. and only.. well, let's just say it has a lot of requirements, and even then sometimes it still doesn't update the time properly, its a pretty bad addon.

I have googled around trying to find an alternate addon for updating/fixing the time on my box but only found ntpupdatemanager which (using the built-in file manager/installer from tspanel) will not install, some error about something... (*** glib detected *** opkg: free(): invalid pointer: 0x08f0050 *** aborted)

Several months since buying this and still I haven't managed to get my DM800HDSE box to auto-record shows (the entire purpose for buying it!)

If anybody can help I would be so greatful!

    thanks

on a link from that post to another forum suggested installing timeupdate_0.1.0-r0_linux-sat from tspanel, addons, tunisiasat, plugins.

It's been one day and no time has been gained, hopefully it stay this way.

      thanks for the link.
