I use Catseye settings which are found here Catseye Settings
Also has a guide on how to use them.

For epg I just use the Internet on my laptop because downloading on the box sometimes crashes it (vu solo) on the latest vix image.

Probably would better to update the image but not sure to which one as I'm not sure what is best for the dm800.

If its crashing the Box the try just Using openTv settings for 28.2? east instead of the Rytec ones, Also if you try and download too many at once that can also crash the box.

I will give it a go. I would wake up in the morning and the box would be stuck half way through the download. Maybe this will fix it.

for bouquets use autobouquets e2 plugin for 28east gives channels same as sly list and with your local bbc and itv channel, its available from tspanel/addons/linuxsat support server/plugins
works really well, probably why you cant find other up to date channel lists

It looks like I'll need a newer image in order to get autobouquets and crossepg going, so I've upgraded the bootloader to 84b in preperation for a new image that hopefully has autobouquets and crossepg integrated into it. (My dm800 is sim 2.01)

Problem is, every image I try just hangs when I try to flash it in the browser. Can anyone recommend an image that might work, or tell me where I'm going wrong!

                    Cheers
You using home plugs, if so run an Ethernet cable to it just to flash it,
