    DM 800 booting problem

    hi! i have a Dm 800 HD PVR original, the problem is dreambox is starting to boot, then it aborted and restarts again, again and again.........

    i already flashed new orig DM image but i have the same problem

    can someone help me ??

    Try using a program like Optiflasher to see if any bad sectors need repair.

      do i need the function REPAIR [NO CA FOUND] ?? is there a key required?

          i found this video

          it is the same fault as i have



          there was there problem a defect tuner, has anyone already the same fault?

            did it work b4 ? have you checked the tuner is in properly? have you tried leaving it off for 30secs b4 switching it back on some boxes wont boot straight away after flashing?

            ps i dont think the tuner should stop the box booting up

              i removed now the tuner, and box is booting till the end.

                Think I would try and flash again but with null modem cable and change the power supply. Andy

                  i saw there was bad soldering on one elko, i connected it back, then i saw in the red ring small short circuitelko.jpg

                    You can buy a new tuner for less than 30 quid off Ebay is your problem sorted?

                      i checked powersupply it is 12,23 V is this ok?

                        Get the M801a tuner.
                        Not sure about the power supply they sell them on ebay for about 7 quid so compare.
