    Coping recorded media

Whats the best and quickest way to backup what you have recorded on the dm800se to your pc, I have the dcc but it seems to take ages, Is it possible to use an external HDD then plug in and go from there?

Transfer them over the network from the internal hard Drive to your PC

I dont use DCC i just either use FTP or even just browse for the network option on your box if using windoze, The time it takes is due to the LAN 10/100 if it was Gigabit lan it would take minutes
