Have 2 clone boxes that run same image : Sat4fun Enigma2: 2012-07-06-3.2 With Sim2 ssl 84b. Tuner is Alps BSBE2 ( DVB-S2 ) Running Sim 2.10. When i Connected the Box to my New LED TV: Samsung UE55ES6565U i couldnt get any sound on the HDMI Connection even after i had tried all hdmi Connections on the TV . Picture is Clear and good but with no sound. If i Connect the Scart plug i have sound right away. So my question is if there is any plug ins etc or other drivers i can use ???? Just get me a little frustrated. I have changed several HDMI cables just to be sure its not the cable. I sure could need some help on this ......

Or try flahing a different image see if sound works and then flash again to the image you want , also try uplugging everything for 5 mins then plug in dm800se ONLY when it boots then plug in t.v. . Make sure ac3 is default !! menu/setup/system/A/V settings/ select video output DVI and AC3 default -

Thanks for advice , but it still not working .....have tried several images and also reflashed them 2-3 times ...still same ...must admit its doing my nut in ....if i use dvd player and connect to the hdmi it works fine ...so nothing wrong with TV and i cant have 2 faulty 800 boxes ,
...hmmmm anyone that have another idea what i could do ?...

Can you do a software update ? I had a pli image a while back when i did a software update and re booted their was no sound so i did an update again and sound was back !Comment

Hi everyone
Seems like i have spotted the fault ....its the TV ... some stuff with the drivers for the hdmi port on TV said a tech from samsung ...will see when he get here and i will post the fix so others can get the info. These smart TV's are more like computers and not only a TV anymore ,. Anyhow will get back in a day or 2 when the tech has been here ...hope its just a quick fix and that he dont need take TV back to shop ....

Have you not tried Updating the firmware on the TV itself my Samsung Plasma is part of the Smart Range but i have never experienced anything like your problem no matte which firmware i have tried on the TV
You can either upgrade via the Menu and do it online via the ethernet or wi-fi connection from the TV or do it manually with a USB stick from here : SUPPORT | SAMSUNG UK just enter the mode number
