    Dm800 Image wont load up

Looking on Ebay, there are a number of DM800Hd for sale . What is odd is that they have all the same fault in that they cant load new image up or it gets stuck on rebooting and nothing happens.

Funny my box has done the same. Took it for repairs and they said it must be some kind of software or hardware image, but they don't know which one.

I tried loading a new image and for some reasons it wont load up any image at all. I tried about 15 images which were compatible with my box.....but no joy. Just gets stuck in rebooting mode.

Is there some experts on DM800hd and can suggest whether this problem is repairable and if so what software or hardware can be the problem.

    Thanks

Try installing a fresh image using Dreamup and null modem cable, thats a start Andy.

Tried as per above suggestions...still no joy.
      Must be a hardware problem.
But what type of hardware is possible on DM800hd?

you could try using the dreamup panel 1_3_3_9 for
a original box or the patched dreamup panel for a clone
and load the bootloader first then reboot the box
then load the image and see if that clears the box
a lot i have seen with this problem have needed a new
        main board

Yes I was told that it would require this, as all above methods were tried earlier on today by a guy who repairs them.Looks like I will be searching for a new one, but this time may go for a VU Duo instead.
