dm800 se harddrive

got a new se and put a 500gig western digital harddrive in, flashed it with the new pli image...now the box can see the harddrive and have inistilised.
i have downloaded a epg and it works fine...the problem is it wont recorded or timeshift. i can set up a timer but it just wont recored ??
any ideas ? my dad has exactley the same set up just a different harddrive and works fine.
will it be worth re-flashing and re-formating the harddrive ?

Try a different image pli can be a bit hit and miss with harddrives m8

My nxt question ha I have only really used pli, cause I have a real dm800 and there is limited stuff for real ones. I am doing this one for a mate so want a solid image with minimal probs. what are u using ?

i like to put the epg on a separate 8 gb flash drive and keep the hard disk for recording movies etc,that's what i did with my 800 se a8p sim

Look a good image. Nice skin. But still doesn't work with harddrive. I tried the blackhole image and worked first time with the harddrive. The harddrive was a western digital blue incase it happens to anyone else
