Is it possible to buy a twin tuner for the dm 800 so you can record different channels than what you are watching

There are no twin DVB-S2 tuner modules but there are triple tuner DVB-S2\DVB-C\DVB-T in other words Sat/Cable/Freeview

I doubt it, its an external usb model.

Just download one of the sky bouquet set from this forum,

load them up in dreamboxedit and ftp them over to the box, really simple and effective.

I'm using an openPLI image with crossepg and cooltvguide. Install the mutiquickbutton plugin and set one of the colour keys to open the bouquet list and its just like a sky box, even my Mrs and kids can use it reasonably now. Not sure if theres anywhere on here to upload, but I could maybe upload a backup .nfi of my box for you to flash, just add your cccam.cfg and you're good to go. Bundle that with project valerie, and its a pretty decent media centre too.

Hi BMush, does that mean that with this Sundtek tuner, we can record one shows from one transponder channel, and watch from a different transponder channel? How do I go about installing this USB tuner? Is it plug and play?

I'm using a clone DM800HD se by the way.

Yep, you can record from one transponder and watch another, you need to install the sundtek control centre plugin for drivers etc, but its very straightforward.

These Tuners are a great idea but and this only applies to people who have not yet purchased a DM it would be cheaper buying a twin tuner Receiver say a TM-2t-oe comes in at just ?219 which is cheaper than a Clone DM800se with a Sundtek usb tuner.

If you have the DM800 already then as been stated this is the only option

                    Still working like in June?
