      Thanks, I'll try that.

The reason I am trying to flash it, cause the image i currently have is around 3/4 years old and the box is abit slow.

All i need to do is flash it ... and then put my ccCam details in right? Or is there more to it?

      Thanks,

      Sam

Before you flash it assuming either its an original or clone make sure you get the correct image for it, if its a clone also get the matching bootloader for that image and flash that first then the image just to be safe and lastly you may want to back up youe C*****.cfg file loacted in /etc folder before you do anything including flashing a new image

Aah not as simple as I thought. Good thing it didn't work then haha. Where can I find the right image from? Stupid question, are there any instructions?

Hello again, I can see the Image Dream-Elite-BlackHole-DM800-2012-06-16-Sim2-SSL-84 - Downloads - Digital Kaos but where is the bootloader? It don't mention about bootloaders here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-dm800-122157/. Confused :S.Thanks, Sam.

That image may have the bootloader already inside the image i use to just get hold of the bootloader separately and flash that first then open another browser window type Dreambox address in and flash the .nfi image just to be on the safe side

If the bootloader is in the image (in the same file) I just have to use that to flash it right? And hey presto I'll have a new image on my box?

Also how can I back up my box just incase some terrible happens?

                  Thanks,

                  Sam.

Dreambox Control Centre will allow you to do a backup of your receivers current image before you flash another one

When I go on to backup in DCC, the button is greyed out.

Doing some googling, it says to use flashwizard pro, when i do that, it gets stuck on Reading Jffs2 Partition.
