    dreambox800se on sony bravia tv

ive been a good son today been round the parents and set a dreambox 800se up for them.setup on a 55" sony bravia tv dont know all the details of tv other than its smarter than me.all set on 1080i tv and box that is,picture is set to smooth but when film goes from left to right or vice versa the scrren goes twitchy or if you like jumpy alittle.is this because is isnt a full 1080p box.thats what im thinking anyway.if not is there a fix?if not no worries can turn off smooth they just find picture better in smooth..

i think the tv will be 1080p not i, mine is, i dont know jack about dreamboxes, but does the dreambox give you the option to set the output frequency of the dreambox to the frequency of the tv ? ie 50htz, 100htz, 200htz might help.

i know on the vu i select 1080p,and there is also an option to display 4:3 as ???????? and display 16:9 content as ????? maybe those settings you can tweak or your tv settings are adjusting it out of shape.

The problem you have here is all the Picture processing functions of the TV set to active, best thing to do with these is switch them all off.

Settings such as LED Motion Plus, MPEG Noise Filter, Digital Noise Filter etc... switch all these off as they do more harm than good for any fast action/Panning scenes
