ca error not connecting

    ca error not connecting

    hi guys,

    i have a dm800 pro with a sim210, with a ca error fault. cant seem to connect to dreamup once it says power up box, i have tried various different versions no joy, any other methods someone can help me with?

      Try and connect from a desktop pc rather than using a laptop, Andy.

        unfortunately i dont have access to a desktop pc that is running windows, i only have a mac, and a laptop with windows, still no joy connecting up the box

          Ive never found these adapters for laptops to work.
          If you can get hold of an old tower with XP Windows on it im convinced it will connect.
          Think theres a couple of other tools like Optiflasher in downloads which might help but not sure if thats for the SE or you still need a desktop pc.
          Also another No Ca Found too in there.
          Never needed them as desktop and null modem worked for me in the early days.
