dm800 hd pvr primary dns settings

would anyone know how I can change the primary and secondary dns settings on my box?

I have gone into via the RC, settings/system/network/adapter settings but cant seem to navagate to edit . I have tried several images and still no joy .
I have also switched off the dhcp but still wont give me the option
using one of the latest blackhole images witch looks great but according to my colleague in the cs world i need to change the settings --been at this for days,its doing me in!

any help out there pls?

dunno what your colleague has told you but I see no reason why you would need to edit the network settings of the box, if you have outgoing "traffic" from your box then run the dyndns updater tool on a pc on same network, if you have "traffic" going to the box you don't need to worry bout dns, that's for the end were the traffic is coming from

As a rule whatever your gateway is (router ip) the nameserver should match. If you have Vermin network you could try their name servers 194.168.4.100 and 194.168.8.100 that sometimes does the trick Andy.

My box is running fine now ,not sure why it was suggested that it was an issue not been able to edit dns settings.
This was what I was advised to do when My channels were down. Hmmm
