A couple of days ago my 800hd started doing this. I bought a new tuner thinking that would be it but its doing it still. Just seeing if anyone has any ideas ? does anybody thing a re flash might help ? It's a original 800hd pvr with a pli image. Been using the same image for over a yr

To rule out maybe a connection issue try using a Scart Lead and see if the problem is still there with HDMI if it goes away on Scart output then try a different HDMI lead

Hi digi I tried a scart lead and all fine. The prob with the 800 pvr is its dvi to hdmi and it carrys sound. I tried a new dvi to hdmi lead but wouldn't work. So I put the old lead back in and it wasn't as bad for 5 mins and then loads of white dots again !! ha don't know if its worth trying to get a new lead ? anyone had this happen ?

if you source a new lead be careful what you buy as i cannot remember the Correct DVI specification for the DM800 as there is DVI,DVI-A,DVI-D and the 800 is similar to the old radeon PC cards when they first came out as they supplied a lead as well due to the fact that the DVI spec only allowed HD video as standard. Try and source one especially for the DM800

I have been trying and can't find anything ! unless I am not looking hard enough ha they don't tell u anything on the dream media site either

do a google search for Mixeshop its a clone supplier they have them for $3.50 + Postage from china

I must be really stupid cause I can only see 1 dvi to hdmi and it $21 but doesn't say it a dm one ?

Cheers Andy. That is the one. Does anybody know if I can get one in the uk first ? Is about ?20 delivery charge which I don't mind if that's the prob but if is the box I would rather it go 2 on a new box if u know what I mean
