A few questions about an Nbox 5800SX

    Hi guys & girls,
i'm looking to purchase an Enigma 2 box, and been advised an Nbox 5800sx is within my budget, what I was wondering is
    1) Is it easy to use? ( I currently have a skybox F3)
    2) Does it have a full 1 week EPG?
    3) If I record a program does it save the recordings under the channel name or program name?

    Thanks in advance

I would say Up your budget and get something with a bit more support

I would rather have a Clone DM800se or even a Clone Solo for that kind of money, ?9 gets you an official TM-Nano which is still a better box

are they both HD? where would be the best place to look for those? I have also read that the Nano is a single Tuner, whereas the nBox is Dual.
Sorry for all the questions but as you can probably tell I am a bit of a n00b

Sorry yes i forgot the Nano is a single tuner had not realised the NBox was a dual tuner, I would seriously read up on the support for these receivers before you buy anything, especially if its just for 28.2? east satellite as you need to do a little research on that as well

yes its just for 28.2 east, I basically just after a box that can record 1 channel n watch another, with HD & with a 7day epg.
the DM800se's I have looked at on eBay seem to be up nearer ?200 which is way above budget :-(

I seriously would not bother spending that amount of money at this point of the game, Do a little research as i said about what is happening at 28.2? east. Without going into too much detail all i will say is all of these so called 'Gift' suppliers are losing service one at a time also there is a card change Imminent more than likely before the end of the year as $ly are about to release 2 new receivers in the next couple of weeks which will stop it for good.

My advice to you would be save more money and get a motorised system it will last longer, Sorry to say this but your about 6 years too late for the party so to speak last orders have been called and the doorman are turfing them out.

                    Regards
