Whats the best way to stream the 800se over the internet?

I was just wondering if a Slingbox is still one of the best solution in streaming my dreambox over the net or using a pc which would mean having to leave it always on.

What would provide the best quality ?

Does anyone regularly use any of these methods?

Is that streaming by LAN or anywhere in the world which is what I was after? and is a pc or media player required to connect to the dreambox to allow it to dream?
