    no ca error fix not working?

    ok i know there are a lot of threads on no ca error but i have been reading and reading but all i get is errors!

    first i have tried ncf sim2 v2.5 when i run that using a null cable to old pc with windows xp i get the error invalid filename even though the sim2 proggy reads my dm800

    so i then try dream up i connect null cable connect to port 1 it connects and says dm800 connected now switch on dreambox and when i do that i get error is not a valid integer?

    this is a clone and it says sim 210 inside

    any help or info would be appreciated cheers

      it needs a patched dreamup for your box mate
      there should be one on the forum in the dreambox

          cheers pal i grabbed 1 and i got a bit further this time i got to flash then i grabbed an image and now its stuck at calculating checksum ? wrong image again? do you know 1 that will work mate ?

          its flashing an image now but god its slow ha been flashing for 30 mins and only half way

              first are you sure the image is the correct one for your sim? if yes then i would try flashing the bootloader file first then reboot the box and then flash the image, and i would use the patched dreamup panel to load the bootloader file and image and once the box is back working you can then go back to using firefox browser to flash images in future

                  the image should be in the file ext nfi. also if you get the error message not a valid integer as said above you need to flash the correct bootloader for the image first. personally I would use the open pli image available from there website with the bootloader
