    making dm800 wireless

    evening all,,

Im looking for a wireless adaptor that will work on the dm800hd, i currently have it running on a wired connection but i want to free up the wired connection for a raspberry pi which is on route. running another rj45 lead in is not an option. all advice appreciated.

I never liked the Wireless Adaptor scenario with DM*00 as you have to find an image that has the relevant drivers in to control the wireless adaptor.

If it was me and you have a spare plug socket nearby get an ethernet switch a 4 port one goes for around a fiver then you have a further 2 spare ports for future products

would another wireless router do the same trick, to act as a spliter if you know what i mean, as i have one lying around. with hindsight i would have run a few rj45 leads from my main router before i decorated but to late now.

Not 100% sure but if you can turn off the ADSL part of it it may work but for a ?5 a 4 port switch is next to nothing really.
