COOLING FAN

Hi fan inside my dm 800hd is noisy was going to replace it took cover off and fan is half under i think tuner and i am afraid to start messing about in case i come across anything else i have to undo to get at the fan ----if i disconnect fan and use external fan for box to sit on would this be enough to keep box cool or do i need both thanks mial

Hi Mial, Its simple enough to remove the internal fan, if you cant, then just disconnect it and do exactly as you said.
I use external fans underneath all my boxes
