Help with dm800 please

Hi

I flashed a dm 800 for friend and put in gp3 sim 2 image ,and cam etc and all stuff needed for xtras

the problem in having as the box works perfectly fine in my house but not in my friends house

I've tried using a fixed ip and dhcp in case there was some sort of conflict
she's on fibre Broadband with Virgin as am I

I've done the network test in mine and all is fine but in my friends the network test comes up as unconfirmed in name server address ,


anyone had this problem or know how to fix it ,it's driving me nuts

she's restarted the network and rebooted everything and all was working well but seems to be back to square 1 constant freezing ,it's not the server as I said all is working well in my house

No problem we can try and help you with the network connection problem with the box but not the actual files that need that connection.

The trouble network have you tried DHCP yes, and then tried a network test. Also look into router settings is it seeing the mac address. I give all my all my network users a fixed address in the router. Also firewalls and some virus checkers can cause problems.

Will give the set ip in the router a go hopefully that solves the problem ,cheers for your help Alec
