Strange as it may seem, we don't know what you have done.

when you say "does not aknowledge there exsistance" do you mean you cannot select them from the sat configuration any more?

if so then you may have a damaged/corrupt satellites.xml file.
re-image the device or try downloading a pre-configred XML file like the one inside SGTFlipFlop's bouquet bundle (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post2123541)

if you can select the sat but the channels are not working, do another full scan. if it cannot find the channels then either your dish is not pointing in the correct direction any more or it has one of many possible faults, without more info we cannot help you.

i hope this is somewhat helpful.

have tried sgt flip flops it say s they are there but cannot get them to work it is not the dish or motor as i can watch thor & other sats it shows the channels for viasat in the epg in a very dark grey as opposed to the white on black i cannot find sirus 4.8 in the sats or any western sats when i scroll through the list as to what are available in a manual scan have loaded them using T Spaniel it says they are loaded but still cannot find them to scan

if you are importing channels from an old scan using tspanel and it's not working, try doing a fresh new scan (chose to delete channels before scan when it asks) and see if you can then browse the new channels.

the only time I have experienced what you describe above is when I have selected the wrong satellite to the channels I am trying to browse, they become greyed out until I change to the correct satellite.
either way, I feel you should try and do a new fresh scan with the correct satellite selected.

DreamboxEDIT works wonders importing/exporting or merging scanned channels, I use this personally every time after doing a full scan to delete all the +1 and duplicate channels sometimes found then export to a backup.

Maybe other people have some suggestions, but it would help us understand in more detail if you could upload some screenshots of the on screen display of what you are describing, things like your satellite config page, the channels list and what is shown after you select a channel.
You can take screenshots by browsing on the pc to http://dreamboxIP then clicking "BoxControl" (on the top) then "Screenshot (All)", right click the picture and save/upload.

start from scratch by sending your motor to zero, then update your satellites.xml with the sats you can recieve. now just set up as simple, motorised, usals, enter your details ect. now just try fta single txp scans on 45e,1w,45w to make sure its working ok. when done you can enter a pre-made list of your choice or do your own, regards mdt
