i got the mini vu duo today, it takes very latest images, so loaded in vix 3.0 latest build , and installed 500gb hard drive, seems to be working fine so far
when flashing you wont get front led flashing to confirm flash finished so best to wait 8-10mins then take turn off and take out usb,
the fan can be heard its not bad when watching tv, but it gives alot of airflow can feel it, so no issues with overheating and also it turns off in standby

As regular purchaser from Mixeshop I fell into same trap myself prior to Christmas. I ordered using Paypal quick checkout and the order didn't appear anywhere on my "Orders" record when logged into the site. I 'think' this was because I didn't log in prior to adding the item to baskey and checking out therefore you end up purchasing the item more or less as visitor to the site. If you log in as registered user on Mixeshop and purchase via your registered details I believe your order will show on their database ok. I contacted them after a few days having noticed the lack of order appearing, fearing the worst like yourself and they were able to confirm the details ok, and infact receiver arrived 2 days later so the order was received and still processed as efficiently as always. Worry not I'd say, provided you have your Paypal details and order number. Failure to get it within 1 week, contact them as this is their normal delivery timescale provided there are no public holidays etc. Have never had issue with Mixeshop nor their products. Always worked 100% for clones, which is saying something.Comment

Ordered mine from mixeshop on 29th dec received it on 6th jan (solo2) . Have had a play about with it . First impressions when compared to vu duo clone (also from mixeshop bought about 2 years ago) are :
1 extremly quicker
2 picture quality slightly cleaner
3 image flashing faster
Everything appears to run alot more smoothly anComment

had the mini vu duo running for over a week with 500gb installed , timeshift enabled etc set recordings, not a single issue,
tried latest blackhole 2.0.8.1 flashed fine didn't go much further as i prefer vix 3.0, it takes official vix 3.0 build 808, only weakness would be the fan noise, as it spins quite fast cant hear it really once tv is on and it turns off in standby , it does run very cool
the fan is a 4 pin , but dont think duo had fan control anyway, if anyone know there is fan plugin ? , can always get a higher quality silent 60mm x 60mm fan , price for a dual tuner and images it takes would so its great so farComment

any update on your parcel? Im surprised at the time its taking, I've usually had a quick turnaround with mixeshop, but mine is also stuck in HK
