Help me update the image on DM 800 HD

Hi,


I'm trying to update the image to the latest version: now I have firmware Release 3.2.4 from 04.11.2012 and Gemini Enigma 2.
However, while holding the power button in order to get the "stop" message on the device screen, I'm not getting the ip displayed (even if its a static ip .. same result with a dhcp config) - the browser interface and the network test are working ok when the device starts.


I've tried with dreamup but with no luck, it just doest find the box.


Please help.. I dont have a serial cable and this seems to be the only way to properly update the firmware.
I'm connecting via a direct network cable.

if its not getting an I-P then it must be a setting within your router regarding dhcp , log into router and allocate the box a static I-P
