Hi all, PLEASE could someone help me with a problem, I've tried flashing a new image onto my Dreambox DM 800 HD PVR (it's a clone), I thought I'd looked into everything needed and tried flashing OpenPLi 2.1 onto it, went through all the necessary steps and flashed the image, upon reboot it has come up with the error message no CA found, I believe this is to do with the boot loader, I checked before flashing and it showed as bootloader version 84, read somewhere that it's best to update the bootloader before flashing but stupidly I did not do this as the update was the same version as the one already on the Dreambox. I now have no access to the Dreambox at all using Dreambox control centre, when I try to connect it tells me that the socket is not connected, even though I've searched for the Dreambox and it finds it's ip address, could somebody please help me and tell me how I can get access to the Dreambox again, would it be best to use a serial cable?? And would this give me direct access to be able to flash a new image?? Also should OpenPLi go straight onto the Dreambox clone with no problems, Thanks very much if anyone can help!!

If you have a clone then it can only run with clone images, furthermore 3 main different clone teams and each team has there own images specifically hacked for there sim types,
You need to figure out which sim is in your box, and then find a corresponding version of pli, then follow one of the many "no c-a error" fix threads,
Does the box have a sticker on the base or did the the small display on front of box say anything bout sim2 (before this error) , as this is most popular clone type

hi m8 use this sunray dreamup - Downloads - Digital Kaos with a null modem and network cable, flash the ssl then the image then the ssl again b4 you do that as southpaw said check which sim you have.if i helped hit the thanks btnComment
