    TSMedia - Where is it?

    Hi Guys,

I have been struggling with my DM800SE HD. I would like to get IPTV (NAVI-X mainly) to work. I had it installed, but not working on my Nemesis install. However, I have now tried to install newer images, and I am unable to get it to show up.
I am currently on Newnigma lean 4.0.7, with TSPANEL 7.3 installed.
I went into Tunisia addodns and installed TSmedia from there.
It went through with no errors. I restarted, but it does not show up in the plugins list.
I recall I had seen an Applications icon in previous TSpanels, but I do not see the Applications folder any more.

Can someone point me in the right direction to see the TSmedia stuff again?
I will change to another image, if it recommended. I am on a freash install and not currently using SAT.

    Thanks,
    Rick

a lot of newer images been released lately for sim2 and they are newer oe2.0 , I have seen an ipk for tsmedia specifically for oe2.0 along with the old 1.6 type, try to find the oe2.0 version, as you may have a bit better luck as they are compatable with the new 84d images which are mostly oe2

Thanks for the reply southpaw. I Managed to get the TSmedia to show in the Menu by installing TSmedia 3.9 from linux_support_Addons.
It works. 1channel works, and Navi-X with live streaming. I expected it not to install 3.9 because a newer TSmedia was installed. Or was it?

I would still like to know how to get the latest TSmedia to show up. It was error free during install, but just does not show anywhere.

      Regards,
      Rick

Thanks cactikid. I will try the built in update you suggest.

I am still trying to understand some things. I wonder if southpaw has noticed something I am doing wrong. I am first now noticing the 'oe' in the image versions.
As I stated, I have a DM800SE HD (or DM800HD SE?). I realize I have to use images for this version. I also know I have to use ssl84 images.
However, I do not understand what the 'oe' ,'1.6', or '2.0' refers to. What should I be using ?

One thing that is annoying is that when I flash, sometimes I get the NO CA ERROR, but sometimes I do not. Is that because I am flashing with the wrong image? As soon as I fix that error with a tool, it boots fine with the image I flashed with.

I am currently trying openpli 4.0 full.

Thanks again for any input to this.

          Regards,
          Rick

Rick78. Where did you get your dm800se from + do you know what sim is inside.
Yes bootloader needs to match the box , or be flashed at the same time as image.
As for the nwer a8p sim . These can take original image
