    XML Satellite to Tuxbox

    Hi everyone,

I am tring to do something where I would not have to scan my satellite for channels after a flash as the process can take almost an hour. I have read forums where you can get the xml for your satellite and save it to the tuxbox folder or in the enigma folder. I have tried both without sucess. Is there anyway to load the channels in and then use autobouquets to sort it?

This will save me a shed loads of time after a new flash.

    Thanks

What settings to you apply to scan on autobouqets? I tried it and it doesnt show you channels till you scan the satellite first. What i am getting at is there anyway of export channels from a saved one so there is no need to scan at all?

      Thanks dude

you setup autobouquet for your region and then let it scan for services, after it has finished if you want to backup what it has completed for you use DBedit and download the channel list to a computer
