Is there a Mac alternative to PopCorn MKV Audioconveter ? Will these programmes just convert the the audio or with it also convert the video files also resulting in taking forever to finish ? I've got a 20gig video with DTS audio that I want to put on a dreambox, I just tried a programme called MKV tool just now but after 15min it only got to 1% completion .

I just ftp my mkv files to the 800 hard drive and play them via media player great results
But don't fancy sending 20 gig via ftp
Can't you hook up the transfer device via the use ports on the dreambox

The mkv files you ftp to your DM800 they don't have DTS audio on I take it ? Do you avoid the files with DTS audio or just convert before sending to your dreambox m8 ?

Yesterday I plug a 35gig usb into the front of the dreambox but with the 20gig file on, I search for the flash drive on the dreambox and when I found it I had to format the flash for it to be recognise, for once I formatted it I then I plugged it back into my mac so I could add the file once again...my mac was unable to recognise the format of the usb... I just gave up after that

Im assuming I would still have the problem with the DTS audio not working if it did work anyhow & all the files I have all seem to have DTS audio.
