Best Cable Tuner for DM800HD

Hi,

I have a Dm800 clone, has sat tuner originally, changed to cable tuner...all channels work fine apart from BT Sports 1 & 2 HD and Sky Sports 2 HD...
tried everything from autobouquest to latest images but those channels refuse to work...

someone told me to replace the tuner with a better one...so..can someone recommend a solid cable tuner? i had bought the current one from ebay for ?20...

Don't think that will be your tuner mate, more likely you have some transponder data missing from your cables.xml file.
try to get one via google and transfer it to var/etc/tuxbox
search DK first there may be 1 available

BTW you are posting this in the satellite forum..should be in the cable forum!

Try this one mate, don't know your NETID but this file gives you lots of options but make sure you name it exact (cables.xml)

Thanks for the reply mate, however I know the exact frequency of sky sports 2 hd...its 107khz...and thats frequency simply does not work on my dm800hd..! i've tried all the cables.xml files, autobouquet maker, open atv images, openpli 4.0 images you name it!

Oh very odd, any chance you have a mate where you could borrow his tuner then.

I have a tuner here and it scans everything fine so I have uploaded a pic so you can compare them. I imagine they all are put together in the same place anyhow!
