Is it possible to send a video to a dreambox over the internet ?

I know it can be done on the home network but I was just wondering if you could also send a video to someone else's box over the net. In principle it would seem possible but I can't find anything online to suggest this to be the case.

HI, I don't have the answer to your question but im wondering could you tell me how I would send a video to my dreambox dm800 from my laptop over the home-network, I use Xbmc on my laptop and id love to get that onto my dreambox if it was possible.

I just use cyberduck to send videos to my dreambox over my home-network. I don't think XBMC will work on the dreambox but i'm not 100% sure.
