No channels coming through after updating channel list

Hi Guys

I put a Dm800 in on OpenPLI for a friend of mine who lives in Spain on 28.2E and he said that he was slowly losing channels like usual.

He did not have a laptop handy to use Dreambox edit on so I teamviewer'd onto his tablet and using a FTP client I loaded the new Bouquet files into /etc/enigma2.

After restarting the channel list loaded fine but every channel was saying check Tuner Configuration.

When he checked it looks like the Satellites.xml had been wiped out as there was no options to select a Satellite. This was weird as the Satellites.Xml is loaded in /etc/tuxbox.

So I loaded a new one in, tuner config come up fine and then done a manual scan which finds 700 channels which looked ok.

However when trying channels now only Chanel 4 and BBC 3 come through.

I've tried multiple satellite xml backups and generated a new but the same as well as trying different bouquets.

Any ideas on what else to try as that's all I can think of. Do you think it may be worth try long a factory reset and starting fresh?

If you put Catseyes bouquets on it has a valid working sat xml file which is recent.
Is his dish big enough to pick these channels up and is there anything blocking the signal?
Is the dish motorised? Is the tuner set up ok for his location.
These are just a few things you need to check.

I will give the Catseye bouquet a go but I'm using a bouquet which works fine on another box.

The dish is 1.5m (not motorised) and picked up channels fine before and the weather is good at the moment.

My guess is the Tuner configuration, I've tried different variations and the now I've got very patchy itv and channel4

He's actually in Ibiza, is there any tuner configs you could suggest to try?

as he is on fixed dish no use using a multisat bouquet can you try a newer single sat 28.2 only,loads of movement on here.

Bouquet being used is 28.2e only.

I definitely think it's something to do with the tuner configuration. It says it picks up a 650 channels

hmm get him to recheck tuner setup is for 28.2? and recheck cable from sat dish to box.

It is weird as it's only since I uploaded the bouquet into /etc/enigma2.

Mode: Single
Satellite:Astray 2a/2C/2e/2f Eutelsat 28a (28.2e)

Send Diseqc on satellite change:no

Manual Scan setup:
TunerVB-S2
Type of Scan:Single Satellite:Astra 2a/2C/2e/2f Eutelsat 28a (28.2e)
Network Scan:No
Clear before Scan:No
Only free scan:no

Should network scan be yes?

Probably worth giving clear before Scan a go.

Will try this and the Catseye bouquet tonight

dreambox edit is best, dump the autobuquets ther a load a ~~~~~ anyhow am gonny smoke some afghan cheese
