vu duo mini red light issue

i have vu duo MINI with a red light and it wont boot up. has any one and idea of how to fix this problem?
iv looked on the net and noticed the normal vu duo has a capacitor problem. replace the capacitor and it fixes them. but mine is a mini

Are you using VIX image, as I had the same problem a year ago, along with many others. The theory is , any none patched images will brick the box.[ please correct me if im wrong] http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ybrid-!/page11
I decided to sell mine after getting the red light problem fixed from seller in PRC.
The legit VU Duo , had a batch that tended to need a capicitor replacement, but that is a whole different issue.

i just came down turned it on and nothing happened, just going to buy new box just not sure what,
thinking a dm800se, are these the best i can get with good support?

Have you tried flashing it again? if not try with an image with drivers in before december last year

yes i tried to re flash after the box went like this with old and new images, i think its got to be a internal fault as iv tried all the usual, power lead and re flash ect.

looks like dm800se is on the cards

how about a better non clone box? vu or technomate?

how much are these vu or technomate boxes? are they the best to buy?

im not that well informed on boxes so and advice on what box to buy is good.

tm nano se single tuner ?99 and original and can run vix+other supported images.with clones you have to worry about images and updates,original boxes use enigma2 open source images.+ they have a warranty and support.
