DM800se - No CA found - no service port

I am getting the "No CA found" error when I start up my 800se. Admittedly it was my fault as I flashed the box with the wrong image.

Previously I have been able to fix by carrying out the following by accessing the service port:

    DONT LINK TO OTHER FORUMS

Unfortunately the service port is no longer and has popped off the board. Tried soldering back on but no response from optiflasher.

Am I completely snookered or is there something else I can try?

    Thanks, Matt

Thanks Jok. Unfortunately no "flash-up" button at the back.

@mattyc drembox 800 have one silver button near display screen at right side for getting box ip press it for few seconds and during that time plug in box powercabel and hold for few sec and ip show's to u.

@mattyc as u said no ca found error come on ur box. for that

user rs232 cabel connect box and pc with rs232 then run universal loader on pc click on connect and switch on box from there u get da box ip now put that ip in explorer and upload bootloader to ur box which ur current image support. after done restart box cheers

note: remember whenever u install any image on dm800 after that install boot loader then reboot ur box

No rs232 port either I'm afraid. Has anyone managed to do anything with the usb ports in this situation. It's pretty much the only interface I have left to work with.

matty, if you google "mini flashup for dm800se" there a few youtube links there , should put you on right track.
also 4th link down is a guide by the team behind sim2.1 ,dreamoem.
did you get the error when trying to flash an image, if so you have used an image thats not compatable (no sh!t sherlock ) you need to establish the sim type (sim2.1 possibly) and flash an image thats suitable for that specific sim type ,
              good luck mate,

I had the same problem on one of my DM800 se clones. I had the mini usb port resoldered back on the PCB by a repair shop who used the correct soldering equipment (not a soldering iron) and it worked fine.
Assuming your usb port was re-attached correctly and still does not connect to your PC, the USB to UART bridge (CP2102) could be faulty, possibly damaged from your soldering effort. I had this problem on another of my DM800se boxes after a lightning storm. I purchased a new chip (CP2102) from China and had it replaced by a repair shop with the correct equipment (NOT SOLDERING IRON). The chip then has to be programmed to suit your box. Details and software to do this can be found on Silicon Labs (CP2102 manufacturer) website.
