DM800 Ccam wont work :(

Hi Guys,

I have a new DM800 (clone) and I cant seem to get the thing working

I am replacing a working 500S.

The imaged used on the DM800 is the Nabilo BlackHole 7 with bootloader 69 (as I believe that is the only one I can use on a clone DM800?

Anyway, installed, boots fine, connected to the net, downloaded the same version cam as my 500S (Ccam 2.1.0). Inserted the correct lines in cfg, restarted cam (blue button, push right to select ccam 2.1.0 then save/ok) its says restarting cam then that's it, nothing Gone through the chann that are ment to be working but nothing. EPG shows the program but nothing, just a blank screen.

What am I doing wrong

this is not realy allowed here as it is cardsharing but i would look into port forwarding and your rooter firewall

FTA works fine

my old 500S works perfect for firewall isnt the issue I dont think.

PS, I'm not cardsharing, just playing

any more ideas?

were did you put the .cfg file , goes in /etc/

no your ip of your new box may be diffrent from your old box if and there for your port are still open to the old 500s ip address in your rooter but if your not cardsharing your cam will not open anything any way only fta stuff and may be digi tv on 1w

its not var/etc is it on a DM800?

I cant see etc in var btw.

there was a cfg in etc and that I edited.

But now, I have started again. This is what I have done:

Installed Barry Allen
Will install Nabilosat v11 or Jade or even EDG then try again.

i think firestorm is right...just to elaborate a bit more
do you run dcc....do you get green lights on

pc.....dreambox.......router

check login and pass in dcc

for the 500s with an eagle image on it the name was root
the passwrd had to be eagle
