I have a DM 800HD SE box. Is it possible to stream to a smart tv on the same network ?

Never tried this one myself personally but i do know that smart tv's have a built in Web Browser facility which would let you enter the IP details, I suppose the only hurdle is the actual Video part which normally you would send the stream to a compatible Media player such as VLC to render the stream

Not had a go at that either.....but I do stream to all tv's in the house using a RF modulator and ~~~~ogue but the picture quality suffers a little.Comment

Well just to confirm i tried this myself on my own Smart TV brought up the web browser for my receiver all ok clicked to stream a channel and thats where it fell apart, you need to be able to send the stream information to a 3rd party media player thats built into the TV to make it work
