!. What image should i install ?
2. it has Gemini 420 is this ok to continue? could it be any timebomb?
3 how to save settings for motor diseq? it was a hell to find satellites?

I would be greatfull for any help and recomandation to what to install in flash, and how to install in usb.

I did settings for my satellites 28 19 16 13 4.6 east and 1 west with diseq 1.2 .would i need to do this again?or is there any way to save this settings and then put them back to the new image?

would it mean that i have to set up new positions when i install the nabilo image?
or is there anyway to save the old posions setting for the sateliites and then put them back into nabilo image?

Nabilo_DM800_PureFlash in flash , then its ok that i can install latest nabilo in usb like nabilo black hole 0.11 in usb or 0.11G2?

Using diseq 1.2 motor

How do I backup my image?what tool do i use?
(did try with dreambox control center ) but cant get a network setting as dm800 is connected direct to my modem , what i understand in this tool it has to be connected to router or im missing something

regarding Gemini tell now as other images is not fatal to dm800 clone and only cause boot error only
but you should expect everything in future ,it is war between original and clones and we are the victims
clone maker developed sim cards to accept bootloader 72 but you should expect from image maker teams to develop more fatal weapon against clones
to be in safe side i advice to be far from gemini first and there are alot of other good images and next advice not to install any image has bootloader more than 72 until proved it will be safe for clones

most images in their description write the version of bootloader but some didnot write ,however most images released after 1-1-2009 has bootloader more than 70

for menu-setup-software manager


back up your settings to usb and when install new image restore the settings back

you can use newest images but must flash ss69 bootloader after flashing image

The poster asked in the first post how he can save his satellite positions first before flashing a new image. I would like to know also as i havent got an answer to this question.

each time i flash a new image i lose all satellite positions, have to then spend a lot of time trying to pick up satellites
