dm 8000 reboots

Hi folks sorry if this is posted before if so i cannot find it
anyway i have dm 8000 with a 1.5 terabite hdd and a built in hp slimline dvd r/w
problem is i can record movies onto hdd
when i use dvd burn the box just reboots i have tried most images but get same results on all images
any help much appreciated thanks in advance

no mate i never even gave that a thought the box is only 3 weeks old should they not be upto date it was fitted proffesionaly how do i update drivers do you mean for dvd r/w and thanks for your swift reply mate much appreciated also it plays dvd's ok it just won't write i have also tried creat dvd iso and box does the same ie reboots

i think what firestorm was talking about dvd r/w driver's
how do i check that stuff out
and how do i find info in box ie var/etc or what
ave also sent crash reports to dreambox but no reply

dreambox are always very slow at getting back to you
if you are using nabilosat
then you need to fpt them over to temp
green bottom ,yellow and choose manual install ipk packges

you could also try this plugin to see if that works
