Cant channel edit on Dreambox 800

I am using Dreambox edit 3.00 which communicates fine with my DB800. Im trying to delete all the unwanted crap channels using DBedit and when i click on FTP it seems to be doing its business but the channels are still there, I have also tried the 'import user Bouquet files' but again after editing the channels they are still there on the Dreambox. I have tried rebooting the box but nothing they just wont go away.
Can anyone please help me on this
