Dreambox 800HD can it do blind scan

I have a Dreambox 800HD on a Nabilosat Blackhole v0.12 image. Can this box/image do a blind scan?

i think all images do a scan in the background
and if you look in your satellite list
you will see
services
providers
new <

this should be were new or missed channels appear

Cheers for the info. I presume best practice would be to do a scan for new channels once a month.

I may have phrased the question incorrectly. Good thing i did as you have made me learn something new. What i was looking for is can the box do a scan for live feeds.
