Configuring WD passport drive with DM800

How do i go about mounting my WD passport 320g drive on dm800 using gemini image ? Can this type of drive be used ?

its an external usb drive

Yeh it will work fine then,
Plug it it,
Go to HDD Settings
Mount it >> will ask you to inizitlise it (aka Formatt it)
Then it will appear.

its a gemini image im using i cannot seem to find the hdd option ?

It should appear when HDD is plugged in
i cant remember if its on main menu or system options
