I think I've got the same problem as many of the other posters. I can connect using a modem cable with DreamUp, upload the flash, which takes an hour followed by the DM800 internally loading the flash but when I reboot the CA not found error hasn't changed. Can I just flash the boot loader via the serial cable and then use the network connection to upload the full image? and would this be any quicker?

I'm guessing that I've tried using an incompatible image but waiting an hour to find out that I haven't fixed the problem is a pain after several attempts

just flash a known working image from the downloads section. will have bootloader on it. so just a matter of flash and go

one other thing sometimes it's best to close everything and then restart the box

same here, i can use dream up, and get it to http mode,
so i have an ip address on the dm 800 lcd, have tried diffrent images, either by ie or via the cable. they both say flash complete, but when i pull the power and power on, i get the same message, err01 no ca found. have tried images with bl69,75 and 76. i have a sim2.1
starting to do my head in, has the box had it?
or has someone got a fix?

i dont need the 2nd stage fix, as the flash button is not greyed.

you need to put the image for the correct sim. so your image must be for sim 2.1 and not 2.01.

once flash complete....like i said close browser...disconnect all wires and turn on and off. will work.

i have a sim 2.01, and had been using images up to bl 75 ok,
until a few days ago, when a err01 no ca found came up.
now the only image that i can flash on the box is an old bl69 image.
have tried other images, ( 6 or 7, including the one i was using which was the phoenix 133) and also tried flashing 2nd stage nfi files for bl72 and 75 images.
but the only image that i can put on is the nabiloblackhole bl69.
can someone tell me a fix, or has the image i was using timebombed my 800 clone

                    CA NOT FOUND

I have the same error after making a software update on my DM800HD SE Clone by mistake. I have now downloaded dreamup, but I am looking for gemini image for a clone to download and cannot find this. Any tips where I can find this?
I am a complete novice and will try to fix the problem with all the info from the threads, but i am not so optomistic.

                      Hi all,
I've got a same problem - after install SSL 84b thru web-interface on my DM 800 HD PVR I only see message "Sim201 team #84b www.dm800sim2.com -> error! *ERR01: NO CA FOUND" on lcd. I've tried Universal Dreamup 1.3.3.4 & 1.3.3.8, OptiFlasher-Pro-E2 and Dreambox NO CA FOUND Repair Tool, but nothing helped. Can anyone advice me what to try else. Thanks!

                        Hi,

Have a look at this thread. I used this to fix mine when it had the same error message -
                        DM800 Fix: No CA Error

I think that the majority of mistakes comes from flashing the wrong image i.e. an image with a different version bootloader OR a SE image to a HD box (and vice versa)

You have to use a patched version of DreamUp to reflash a 'CA error', it doesn't sound like you are using that?

The bottom post on this link is what I did to fix mine -

if you read this thread from page1, you will see that people used ebay for the cable
